About El Dorado Elementary

About Us

Serving Grades Pre-K through 5

Mission

El Dorado Elementary School is a campus that believes in our vision statement "Growing every child today to see their purpose for tomorrow." Growing every child is a priority, and our focus is to help every child visualize his or her purpose today, tomorrow and beyond. The faculty here empowers students to take advantage of the many opportunities in front of them. We come to work with consistency and we deliver classroom instruction with intent. We believe that ALL students can make academic progress so we focus on improving, updating and executing teaching practices and approaches that meet the needs of the current generation and beyond. We are also proud to offer a strong Dual Language program. Students in our Dual Language program have the opportunity to enhance their skills in two different languages. Our goal is to make sure our students don’t just have academic success but become leaders who are ready for life outside our campus.

Our Clusters

Roosevelt Cluster

Welcome to the Roosevelt Cluster in the North East Independent School District. As a El Dorado Elementary student, your child will establish a passion, curiosity and foundation for life-long learning while nurturing their social and emotional skills. Outside of the classroom, your child can embrace what they love or try something new through diverse clubs, programs and organizations.
Your child will discover even more opportunities at Ed White and Krueger Middle School. As their academic foundation expands in the classroom, their circle of friends and experiences will grow through new opportunities in Athletics, Fine Arts, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, competitive UIL contests and more. Ed White is home to the Design and Technology Academy (DATA)—a magnet for students who love computer coding, programming, and information technology. The Krueger School of Applied Technologies (KSAT) gives students the chance to explore their passion for rocketry and robotics.
At Roosevelt High School, your child will excel academically and socially while embracing beloved Rough Rider traditions with memories that will last a lifetime. Your child has the freedom and support to pursue their passions in a variety of programs, organizations and clubs—from Athletics to JROTC, Band, Dance, PALS, Photography, UIL and much more. Students in the DATA high school magnet fine-tune their skills in classes like architecture, computer science, and animation. In the Engineering and Technologies Academy (ETA), students expand on their passion for design, rocketry and engineering.
There’s so much to discover in the Roosevelt cluster. Thank you for choosing NEISD!
